How can we help?
UnitCart 1.0 · Updated July 31, 2026
Choose currency and units
Open Settings → Prices & units. USD is the default. You can switch among USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, BRL, MXN, JPY, and INR, then choose default weight and volume units such as oz or fl oz.
A saved observation retains the currency and source unit used when it was recorded. UnitCart does not mix different currencies when calculating a typical price.
Compare two packages
On Compare, select the edit controls, enter each price and package quantity, choose each package unit, then choose the unit to normalize per. Both packages must measure the same dimension—count, weight, or volume.
Scan a barcode
In the comparison editor, tap Scan. On a supported iPhone, center a UPC, EAN, or QR code in the camera guide. Manual entry remains available when camera scanning is unavailable. Barcode values stay on your device.
Subscriptions and purchases
Monthly and annual subscriptions include a 7-day trial for eligible new subscribers. Lifetime is a separate one-time purchase and does not renew. Apple displays the current local price and eligibility before confirmation.
To restore an existing purchase, open the Pro screen and tap Restore. To manage or cancel a subscription, open iOS Settings, select your Apple Account, then Subscriptions.
Data and export
Your price book is stored locally on your Apple device. In Settings, use Export price history to create a portable CSV copy.
To erase products, observations, preferences, and the optional reminder, open Settings, tap Delete all local data, and confirm. This cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy. Removing the app may also remove local data unless it is preserved by your device backup.
Compatibility
UnitCart 1.0 supports iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. The companion app supports Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later and requires a paired iPhone for durable price-book saves.
Barcode camera capture is available on supported iPhone models. Manual entry remains available on iPad, in Simulator, when camera access is denied, or whenever scanning is unavailable.
