Private, source-linked bid leveling

Effective September 5, 2026. BidLattice does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics, and does not sell personal information.

Data you choose to store

Projects, vendor names, requirements, saved quote excerpts, clarifications, adjustments, allocations, and dossiers are created at your direction and stored locally using Complete File Protection. PDF and image imports use a temporary protected copy for on-device text recognition. The app attempts to remove that copy when recognition finishes or fails. Your original file is unchanged. Only excerpts you choose to save become project data, alongside the source name, page, and checksum.

On-device recognition

Text recognition uses Apple Vision on device. BidLattice does not upload quote files, images, or extracted text to a cloud inference service and does not use a remote AI provider. You review and map every saved excerpt, resolve coverage, and select award allocations yourself.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and lifetime purchases. BidLattice receives verified entitlement status and product identifiers from StoreKit; it does not receive or store payment-card information.

Local activity counts

BidLattice keeps bounded aggregate counts of actions such as completing a dossier, opening Pro, choosing a plan, and purchase or restore outcomes on this device. These counters use fixed action names only: they contain no quote content, project identifiers, prices, account information, timestamps, or event history, and are not sent to us or an analytics service. You can clear them in Settings under Local diagnostics.

Sharing and retention

Import recognition does not transmit your document. Dossiers and clarification packets are shared only through the system destination you select. A paired Apple Watch receives bounded follow-up context, including project and scope titles, vendor, due date, and record identifiers through Apple WatchConnectivity. Creating another project preserves earlier projects. Delete a project in Projects & dossiers to remove its local project data, dossiers, and generated PDF/CSV exports, or delete the app to remove local app data. Shared copies follow the destination’s retention policy. Project data may be included in operating-system backups according to your device settings; generated PDF/CSV cache files are excluded from backup. Deleting local data does not delete copies you previously shared or retained in a backup.

Your choices

You may use the included local workflow without an account. You can decline a purchase, cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings, and delete local BidLattice data by deleting the app. Reinstalling may not restore local quote files unless you separately preserved an export.

Policy updates

Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. For privacy support, use the official support page and do not include confidential bid documents unless specifically necessary.
