Compatibility

LayerMargin supports iOS 18 or later on iPhone, iPadOS 18 or later on iPad, and watchOS 11 or later for the Apple Watch companion. Some Watch features require a paired iPhone running the current LayerMargin version.

Restore Pro access

1. Open LayerMargin and choose Settings.
2. Select LayerMargin Pro, then Restore purchases.
3. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase.

Restoring does not charge you again. Monthly and annual subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for eligible subscribers. The lifetime option is a one-time, non-renewing purchase and does not include a subscription trial.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Apple manages billing. Open App Store subscription settings to manage or cancel, or use Report a Problem for refund requests. Deleting LayerMargin does not cancel an active subscription.

Create a quote

Enter the slicer’s print time and material estimate, then review machine, energy, labor, handling, packaging, shipping, marketplace fee, failure allowance, and target-margin inputs. LayerMargin recalculates the suggested price, production cost, and expected profit together.

Export a quote

With LayerMargin Pro, open a saved quote and choose PDF or CSV export. The free version keeps the complete calculator and saved quote detail, while export actions open the LayerMargin Pro options. LayerMargin creates a file only when requested and presents Apple’s share sheet. The destination you choose controls the exported file afterward.

Notifications

Production reminders are scheduled locally only after you grant notification permission. Quiet hours are configurable in Settings, reminder taps open the Jobs workspace, and completing or deleting a job cancels its pending reminder. Declining permission does not block quoting, saving, costing, or exporting.

Delete your data

Delete individual quotes, jobs, customers, printers, and materials from their respective areas, or use Delete all workshop data in Settings. Removing LayerMargin also deletes remaining local data from that device. Export anything you need to keep first.

Pricing is an estimate

LayerMargin calculates from the inputs you provide. It cannot guarantee print success, customer acceptance, tax treatment, platform fees, material yield, or profit. Review local tax and business requirements and use professional judgment before sending a quote.
