Privacy by design

PartyCount Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2026

Short version: PartyCount does not collect your data. Your party plans and checklists stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

Data PartyCount stores

PartyCount stores the information you choose to enter, such as plan names, gathering types, adult and child guest counts, duration, appetite, optional budget targets, calculated quantities, custom adjustments, and checklist state. This content is stored locally in the app’s protected container on your device.

Data collection and tracking

PartyCount does not operate an account system or remote database. The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, affiliate links, or telemetry SDKs. NexLevel does not receive your PartyCount plan content.

Purchases

PartyCount Pro purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple’s own privacy policy. PartyCount receives only the entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features; NexLevel does not receive your full payment details.

Exports and sharing

Text, CSV, and PDF exports are created on your device. If you use Apple’s system share sheet, the destination you choose may process the exported content under that destination’s terms and privacy policy.

Security and deletion

PartyCount uses Apple’s complete file protection for its local store and generated exports. You can delete individual saved plans or erase all PartyCount plans from Settings. Removing the app also removes its local app container, subject to Apple device backup behavior you control.

Quantity guidance

PartyCount’s quantities are planning estimates based on general assumptions. They are not dietary, medical, food-safety, or professional catering advice. Review each estimate for your guests, menu, climate, venue, and local food-safety requirements.

Children

PartyCount is a general utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. A change that materially alters PartyCount’s local-first privacy model will be disclosed in the app or release notes where appropriate.
