For a local reminder, open Settings > Notifications > PawHandoff, allow notifications, then turn the reminder off and on again in Schedule. For shared Care Updates, sign in and use Household > Cloud Sync > Enable. Care Updates notify this device only about actions recorded by other household members. Focus settings and network conditions can delay delivery.
A check-in is waiting to sync
The check-in is already safe on this device. Reconnect, confirm you are signed in under Household, and tap Retry. Never repeat feeding or medication only because sync is pending.
I received a duplicate warning
Someone logged the same task inside its safety window. Cancel unless you actually completed another care action.
Restore PawHandoff Household
Open the Household plan screen and tap Restore purchases while using the Apple ID that made the purchase.
Delete my data
Open Household > Your data > Delete account and data. Signed-in users must remain online until PawHandoff confirms cloud deletion. If confirmation fails, nothing is deleted.
Sitter access stopped working
Links expire or may be revoked by the owner. Ask the household owner for a new link.
Export without interrupting care
Local owners can share care history as free text. The advertising-enabled update also offers an optional rewarded video for one frozen CSV. Only a completed video earns access; an unavailable or unfinished ad changes no care records. Matching saved access works offline. Household exports remain direct, without videos.
Advertising privacy and saved exports
Open Advertising privacy choices in Household or the export sheet. Choices are shown where required in your region. Pet names, notes, photos, caregivers and exported history are never included in ad requests. Clear prepared export access removes app-owned CSVs and permissions, while retaining pets, check-ins and purchases. Copies you already shared remain with their recipients.
