Privacy Policy
VeriManual is local first. Your project library, imported originals, approvals, exports, and notification content stay on your devices. Only bounded content you approve for an assisted task leaves the device. There is no separate VeriManual or OpenRouter account, advertising SDK, tracking, or third-party analytics SDK.
Data stored on your device
Manual projects, imported source copies, extracted text, citations, decisions, revision history, reminders, and exports are stored locally in protected app storage. Deleting a project removes its local project record and protected source copies. Files you previously shared to another app are outside VeriManual’s control.
Optional managed model processing
If you start an assisted task, the app previews and sends only the bounded source excerpt and task instruction needed for that request to the managed VeriManual service. The service forwards the minimized request to OpenRouter and an allowlisted model provider. You never provide an OpenRouter account or API key.
For App Store privacy disclosure, request content is Other User Content, a pseudonymous installation integrity identifier is Device ID, and signed StoreKit entitlement data is Purchase History. These data are used only for app functionality and service protection, may be linked to the same installation or entitlement, and are never used for tracking, advertising, or profiling.
Every provider request requires zero-data-retention routing, denies provider data collection, disables tools and browsing, and rejects weaker fallbacks. VeriManual does not send the full project library, filenames, local paths, approvals, exports, or unrelated memory. No provider credential ships in the app.
Service integrity and retention
The gateway verifies a short-lived app-integrity session and signed StoreKit entitlement, enforces the Free or Pro allowance, and rejects replayed or over-budget requests. It stores no source excerpt, prompt, or completion. A one-way request digest may be retained for up to 24 hours; content-free quota, fraud-prevention, route, token, cost, and result-class buckets are retained for no more than 35 days.
Purchases
Apple processes purchases. VeriManual reads signed product and entitlement status to provide Pro access and select the managed-AI allowance; the gateway verifies only that bounded entitlement information. VeriManual does not receive payment-card details, billing addresses, Apple Account passwords, or complete payment credentials. Monthly and annual subscriptions may include a 7-day introductory trial for eligible customers; lifetime is a one-time non-consumable.
Notifications and Watch
Review reminders are local and never include source excerpts. Apple Watch receives only a sanitized project status and versioned action identifiers—not source text or credentials.
Tracking and third parties
VeriManual contains no advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDK. Support links open in your browser. Apple’s operating system and App Store services operate under Apple’s policies.
Retention and deletion
You can avoid model processing, delete individual projects, delete all local data, or request deletion of this installation’s managed-service quota and replay records. Removing the app deletes its local container but does not itself contact the service. OpenRouter requests use zero-data-retention and data-collection-denied routing; any record a provider is legally required to retain is governed by that provider’s terms. StoreKit purchase history remains with Apple, and shared copies are managed by the receiving service.
