Privacy Policy
Effective July 19, 2026
FairFork’s developer does not collect data from the app. There are no accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking identifiers, or receipt uploads.
Receipt processing
Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose them. Apple Vision recognizes receipt text on your device. The selected image is used transiently for recognition and is not uploaded to the developer or saved by FairFork as a receipt image.
Local app data
Bill titles, people, items, amounts, assignments, saved groups, usage limits, and purchase-access state are stored in the app’s protected local container. FairFork does not provide an account or cloud synchronization service. Device backups are governed by your Apple and device settings.
Exports
When you create a text, image, or CSV summary, you choose where to share or save it through Apple’s system share interface. The destination’s privacy practices apply after you choose it. CSV cells beginning with spreadsheet-formula control characters are neutralized for safer export.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and may provide FairFork with a cryptographically verified product entitlement, transaction status, revocation status, and storefront price needed to deliver or restore Pro access. The developer does not receive your full payment-card or Apple Account credentials. Apple’s own privacy policy governs its processing.
Permissions
Camera and photo-library permissions are optional. Declining them does not prevent manual bill entry. FairFork does not request location, contacts, microphone, Bluetooth, health, advertising, or cross-app tracking access.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in FairFork, delete the app, or erase the device. Use Settings → Delete All Data to remove bills and groups. App Store purchase history is controlled by Apple and cannot be erased by FairFork.
Children
FairFork is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. Because the developer does not collect app data, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
