These terms supplement Apple’s applicable standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and App Store terms. If these terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the Apple terms control.

What FairFork does

FairFork helps you transcribe receipt lines, assign items, calculate proportional tax and tip, and create shareable summaries. Receipt recognition is an assistive starting point, not a guarantee. You are responsible for reviewing source amounts, assignments, currency, tax, tip, and final totals before paying or requesting reimbursement.

No financial or tax advice

FairFork is an organizational calculator. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, legal, debt-collection, or payment-processing advice. It does not transfer funds or determine legal payment obligations.

Free tier and FairFork Pro

Manual splitting and text sharing are free. The app may limit free receipt scans and saved bills. FairFork Pro is a non-consumable one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the features described on the App Store product page. Purchases, refunds, Family Sharing eligibility, territory pricing, and restore availability are administered by Apple under App Store rules.

Acceptable use

You may use FairFork for personal or internal organizational purposes. You may not reverse engineer where prohibited, circumvent purchase access, misuse the app to deceive others, or submit unlawful or harmful content.

Your content and exports

You retain responsibility for information you enter and summaries you export. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information. When you share an export, you authorize disclosure to the destination you select.

Availability and disclaimer

The app is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. On-device recognition can be affected by image quality, receipt damage, language, layout, and operating-system behavior. Always verify the split against the original receipt. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and termination

Features may evolve through app updates. You may stop using the app and delete local data at any time. Access may be restricted for fraud, abuse, or legal requirements, subject to applicable law and Apple’s platform rules.
