Local information
GearTune stores client names and optional contact details, golf and bicycle equipment, professional measurements, notes, review dates and attachments you choose. Local records use authenticated encryption and a device Keychain key. No mandatory account, advertising tracker, analytics SDK or managed AI service is used.
Your deliberate actions
Client reports are created on the device and exclude private studio notes. Source attachments are preserved as original files and may contain embedded metadata. If you choose to export or share a report, attachment or backup, the destination you choose receives it. Backups include both workspaces and private notes, protected by your chosen password. Keep that password safe; we cannot recover it.
Apple services
Apple handles purchases and subscription billing. GearTune uses verified StoreKit entitlements, not your payment-card information. A paired Apple Watch receives only the equipment reference you choose; review flags remain queued until the iPhone saves and acknowledges them. Optional local reminders use a generic notification, without client names or measurements in its visible text.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on your device until you remove them. Delete equipment individually or all local data in Settings. Previously exported copies and backups must be removed from their destinations separately. Device backups remain subject to your Apple settings. Use GearTune’s password-protected backup for a verified transfer to another installation.
Contact and rights
For privacy questions, contact [email protected]. Do not email client records, private notes, backup passwords or payment details. We do not receive your local library automatically and cannot access or restore it remotely.
