Your evidence stays under your control.

Short version: Inspecova requires no NexLevel account, does not collect inspection content for advertising or cross-app tracking, and keeps core inspection records in the app’s local protected container. Data leaves only through an action you take or an Apple service needed for that action.

Information you enter

Inspecova may store project and client labels, site notes, checklist answers, measurements you enter, severities, recommendations, acknowledgements, timestamps, report identifiers, and photos you choose. Avoid recording information you do not need for the inspection.

Local storage and reports

Inspection data is stored locally using Apple platform storage protections. Generated PDF and CSV exports are created on device. When you share an export with Apple’s system share sheet, the destination you select handles it under that destination’s privacy terms.

Selected photos

When you choose an image with Apple’s system photo picker, Inspecova creates a bounded, metadata-stripped copy in the app’s protected local container. Inspecova does not claim to detect, classify, or measure a defect automatically; readings and conclusions remain yours.

Local sentence cleanup

Sentence cleanup is a deterministic, on-device text transformation limited to spacing, initial capitalization, and ending punctuation. No inspection content is sent to NexLevel or an AI provider. A cleanup changes your finding only when you explicitly choose Use cleanup.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase. Inspecova receives product and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro, restore access, and respond to expiration or revocation. NexLevel does not receive your full payment-card details.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Inspecova does not use third-party advertising, data-broker, or cross-app tracking SDKs. It does not sell personal data.

Retention, export, and deletion

Local inspection content remains until you delete it or remove the app, subject to device backups you control. You can export completed reports before deletion. Deleting inspection content retains only non-content monthly usage counters and a report-number sequence needed to enforce Free limits and prevent number reuse; those counters contain no project, site, finding, photo, or report text. Removing the app deletes its local container. Inspecova does not maintain a server-side inspection-content account or history.

Security

Inspecova uses complete file protection for local evidence and reports, bounded image decoding, StoreKit entitlement verification, and fail-closed feature availability. No security measure is perfect; keep Apple software current and store exported reports only in trusted locations.

Children

Inspecova is a professional productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
